Palmtop HART configuration tool

DMT is offering the HPC301 from Smar Research. It is a configuration tool for HART field devices based on a Palm OS platform for handheld products. Together with the HPI311V-HART Pocket Interface, it offers an effective a configuration tool. Together with the HPI311V-HART Pocket Interface, it offers a powerful solution as a configuration tool. These configurators can hold applications for up to 70 different devices - depending on device complexity. The HPC301 software runs on all handheld products supporting Palm OS 3.5 (some older versions of OS can be easily upgraded if necessary).

In addition to the HPI311V, which is compatible with the Palm V handheld, Smar Research is in the process of developing other models of HART hardware interface to support additional handheld models - like Palm III, Palm VII, M100 and others.

The standard version supports all the universal commands and the majority of the common practice commands available for HART protocol Revision 5.
