Using HFI, the object-oriented and .NET-compatible user interface, data from the field can be easily read and controlled using a PC application running on Windows XP. Thanks to object-oriented class libraries, every control and visualisation application provides access to I/O signals and diagnostic information.
PCI and PCI-104 cards are supported on the signal level with the direct Interbus master and several Ethernet I/Os available from Phoenix Contact. The modular Inline system with an upstream Ethernet bus terminal and the compact Inline Block system both serve as Ethernet I/Os. Simple network integration is also accommodated.
Data access is configured using registered variables, and diagnostic information is automatically processed by the classes. Project information can be transferred directly from the Interbus CMD bus configurator.
