IFM Electronic's SI5 Series flow sensors offer increased sensitivity across the measuring range providing reliable monitoring of gaseous and liquid media. Housed in robust stainless steel, the sensors can be integrated into almost every application by means of a wide selection of process adapters. The sensors have a 30 bar pressure resistance and a 1 to 10 s response time.
The SI5 sensors are unaffected by the orientation of the sensing face with respect to the direction of flow, providing increased flexibility of installation. The sensors meet IP67 protection requirements and are shock and vibration resistant.
The sensors are easy to use providing high functionality, and switchpoint setting is via pushbuttons. The current flow and switchpoint are indicated with multicoloured LEDs. Electronic locking of the settings and factory reset of the parameters provide additional safety for the user.
