Users in the industrial plant and producers of switchboard have expressed a need for more compact and lower enclosure systems. Rittal is therefore offering new, smaller sizes in its successful TS8 baying system. To meet this growing need for smaller-sized units, Rittal is expanding its comprehensive range of TS8 standard products by adding 1200 mm high enclosure systems.
The new 1200 mm enclosure versions are being stocked in widths of 600, 800 and 1200 mm and in depths of 500 mm, with rear walls and side panels, mounting-, gland- and roof plates. The baying system meets the needs of protection classes IP55 as laid down by EN 60 529 and NEMA 12. The enclosure frame, door, roof and rear panel are electrophoretic dipcoat-primed to ensure optimum surface protection.
The core of the enclosure system is the tried and tested TS8 profile. It permits highly versatile configuration options thanks to its two-level principle. The symmetrical construction facilitates scalable baying options at all levels. The system offers a very high level of stability up to 1000 kg, maximum access security through its four-point locking, and ideal integration of climate control components.
