Electromagnetic field immune inductive sensors

IFM Electronic's new IM5120 electromagnetic field immune sensors are designed for conveying applications particularly in the automotive industry, as well as being ideal for use in machine tools and factory automation. The 40 x 40 mm rectangular inductive sensors have the same sensing range on all metals allowing a constant correction factor 1. Very long sensing ranges of up to 40 mm are possible.

By simply loosening the adjusting screw, the sensing face can be rotated in five different positions, optimally adapted to the application. Two clearly visible corner LEDs can be seen even under adverse installation conditions.

The IM5120 inductive sensors meet IP 67 requirements and are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity and overloads. They have a reinforced plastic housing with a rotatable M12 connector.

Also included in the range are Teflon coated units for welding applications.
