Bianca butterfly valves for bio ethanol production

To produce bio ethanol (additive for green fuel) different substances (agricultural and crop sources) are used. High temperature is necessary during the process of fermentation. Acids are also added during the production process. Butterfly valves must be resistant to these conditions.

Because of high temperatures and aggressive acids in a bio ethanol plant, valves are exposed to hard conditions and must therefore, have special materials, ie, PFA coated discs and Ultraflon liners to resist the demanding applications.

The InterApp butterfly Bianca with PFA coated disc and Ultraflon liner covers different working conditions (high temperature and acids) in bio ethanol plant. Nominal diameters are available from DN 32 to DN 800. Bigger sizes are available on request. Bianca butterfly valves can be operated either with hand lever, gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuators.
