Wago has introduced an addition to its Multi Connection System - the Maxi. The Maxi complements the existing range of Micro (pin spacing 2,5 mm), Mini (pin spacings 3,5 mm and 3,81 mm and Midi (pin spacings 5 mm, 5,08 mm, 7,5 mm and 7,62 mm). Equipped with Cage Clamp S connection up to 6 mm²/10 mm² (AWG 10/AWG 8), they are rated at a current of 41 A and have a pin spacing of 7,62 mm. As 'high-power' sub-assemblies on printed circuit boards, they are ideally suited for use for example, in drive technology applications, converters or power supply units.

The Maxi system is 100% protected against mismating and coding is achieved without the loss of poles. Female connectors with Cage Clamp S connection are available for all types of wires, and cost-saving push-wire connection of stranded wires with ferrules is possible. The user is assured of a vibration-proof, fast and maintenance-free connection. Headers with straight and right angle solder pins are available in 2- and 3-pin versions. The 2-pin versions are layout compatible to all systems currently on the market.
