Low-cost, high-performance butterfly valve

Keystone, a Tyco International company, has introduced the Figure 320, a new range of modern, low cost wafer-type butterfly valves, complementing its already significant product portfolio. The valves incorporate a number of features that make them appropriate for many general industrial applications. They have excellent bi-directional shut-off capability with pressures up to 1,6 MPa (16 Bar), they have a long-lasting vulcanised seat design with a low pressure drop through the valve due to its thin disc profile. An extended neck enables the top-mounting flange to remain clear of the insulation cladding, and there is an accessible angled operating lever - this helps to maintain the integrity of the cladding - whether the valve is operated by lever or actuator. The wafer-type butterfly body is easy to install between the flanges of adjoining pipework. However, its monoflange design also enables it to be positively bolted on one side only, and used for end of line service.

For maximum flexibility during pipework assembly, the valve's slotted boltholes offer compatibility with a range of flange drillings, including PN6, PN10, PN16 and ANSI 150. Designed to conform to international standards, the Figure 320 has face-to-face dimensions in accordance with ISO 5752, and a top-mounting flange in accordance with ISO 5211. Additionally, Keystone valves are supplied with a two-year guarantee.
