Elen Enclosures has announced that it will now offer the three most popular sizes of the 'Spacial 3D' enclosures, namely 400 x 300 x 200 mm, 500 x 400 x 200 mm and 600 x 400 x 250 mm in 'electric orange' to comply with NOSA standards. The IP rating is an impressive IP66 (totally dust proof and protected against strong jets of water).
The 'Spacial 3D' range of high quality enclosures offers excellent rigidity and mechanical strength due to double folding of the enclosure opening and door edges. Bevelled door edges at 45° further enhances their robustness and aesthetics. The double folding on the enclosure opening provides a 3 mm thick sealing edge against the continuous (foamed-in) gasket on the door. IP66 rating is therefore assured for the lifetime of the enclosure. The double folding also minimises the risk of gasket damage due to mechanical impacts or pressure on the door.
The 'Spacial 3D' range also offers an excellent corrosion resistance provided by the combination of steel treatment (degreasing, phosphating and chromate passivation) prior to finishing with polyester based and epoxy modified powder coating.
The range is supported by a wide range of accessories. These include internal doors, 19" (482,6 mm) rack frames, distribution board conversion kits, cooling and ventilation accessories and enclosure lighting.
