MonoScan is a family of compact ultrasonic instruments for continuous level measurement of liquids, solids and open-channel flow with the accuracy and reliability that is required by industry. It is a compact loop powered device for direct mounting with the integral transducer. The level/flow instrument has a built in LCD display and keypad for remote setup, and therefore a PC or laptop is not required for this purpose. It is one of the smallest open channel flowmeters that has nine predefined weirs and flumes. The unit can also be programmed for level measurement as well. The 12-24 V d.c. loop-powered requirement makes it suitable for a wide variety of applications. Two versions are available for 0-5 m and 0-15 m range installations. With an accuracy of 0,25% and a resolution of 1 mm, it has similar performance to its 'big brothers' in the SoltaScan range, and also has the option of RS485 connectability. This product is based on new patented technology which delivers full compensation for vapours, gases, temperature variations, wind and pressure. These self-contained instruments are easy to install and operate, and deliver cost-effective ultrasonic level measurement. These units, featuring dynamic and static echo control, automatic temperature compensation and automatic gain control, offer effective ultrasonic level and flow measurement.
