Temperature Measurement

Infrared and digital images in one package

July 2006 Temperature Measurement

One of the fastest growing measurement requirements in the world today is thermal imaging. Prices of thermal imagers have reduced drastically over the last few years with the advent of new materials and IR detectors. To allow the manufacture of a cost-effective unit some of the 'nice to haves' have also been removed from the one time highly sophisticated and complicated units. One of these features is the digital camera built into the thermal imager. New higher level units from Fluke (Ti40 and Ti50 coming soon) will contain this feature but the existing cost-effective Ti20 and Ti30 are produced without it.

The use of digital images in report generating is very useful and the Inside IR report and image manipulating software supplied with the TIs has allocated space on the report sheet for a digital picture of the fault area.

So to keep customers happy and to stimulate sales R&C Instrumentation is offering a 'free' digital camera with every Ti 20 or 30 purchased while stocks last.

The digital camera is a Canon A240 PowerShot, with 4 Megapixels, 3,2x optical zoom and many more features.

The company also supplies certified Level 1, 2 and 3 training by independent trainers which along with its cost-effective Imager will allow you to implement the predictive maintenance programme on your site that will improve productivity and increase equipment life, saving you money.

The Fluke Ti20 and 30 are supplied complete with all the necessary accessories to perform detailed plant maintenance and fault finding. The unit includes the powerful, unlimited-use, InsideI analysis software, AC/DC power adapter, USB connection cable, carrying case, rechargeable battery pack, getting started guide, and interactive CD with training materials.

R&C Instrumentation, an authorised importer and distributor of Fluke and Raytek infrared products, has demo units available throughout the country for on-site demonstrations.
