Touch protection on the PCB

The new Wago 734 series of female connectors with solder pins, available with pin spacings of 3,5 mm and 3,81 mm, expand the advantages of the Wago multiconnection system Mini. For example, output connectors of live PCB subassemblies are touch-proof, input and output circuits can be clearly identified on the PCB and printed circuit boards can be plugged together.

The female connectors are 100% protected against mismating and can be inserted in parallel or at right angles to the PCB and are available with or without locking levers. With two solder pins per pole, the connectors ensure coding without the loss of poles and provide a test slot for test plugs Ø 2 mm. They have pluggable strain relief plates and housings, and pole marking is via direct printing or by using self-adhesive marker strips. Additional features include vibration-proof, maintenance-free Cage Clamp connection for both headers and female connectors, as well as headers for reflow soldering. The Series 734 has a rated 0,08 to 1,5 mm² cross section (AWG 28-14) and a 250 V/2,5 kV/2 rated voltage.
