Advantech's ACP-2320MB is a 2U-high, rack-mountable enclosure designed for an ATX motherboard. Built to support increasingly popular serial ATA data storage, the ACP-2320MB comes with dual easy-to-maintain SATA hard drive trays, front-accessible USB and PS/2 interfaces, and front LED indicators. These features provide a cost-efficient and convenient solution for data mirroring and make the ACP-2320MB the best solution for the entry-level server market.
The ACP-2320MB fits any Advantech AIMB ATX motherboard, and holds up to three full-length PCI add-in cards with Advantech's PCI riser card. With a depth of 475 mm, this compact chassis provides various data storage solutions, such as one slim-type CD-ROM (or DVD-ROM), two front-accessible serial ATAs, and two internal or serial ATAs. In addition, the front-accessible USB and PS/2 interfaces offer additional options for data input, backup, and transfer.
In order to minimise the system's Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), the ACP-2320MB comes with a unique alarm module that automatically detects system operating conditions. Power, HDD, fan, system temperature, and system status are all shown on the front LED display. In the event of system failure, the module sounds an alarm to notify users. Other user-friendly design features include the easy-to-replace cooling fans and filters, the shock-resistant drive bay, and the lockable front door to prevent unauthorised access to data storage. With these features, the ACP-2320MB is suitable for secure data storage applications.
