RKC Instruments has designed and developed the THYCO-10 Series of thyristor units and solid-state relays, as well as the SSNP and SSNZ Series thyristor units. The THYCO-10 is a phase angle control type power controller. Phase angle control provides accuracy through cutting part of the sine semi wave to control the power supply to the load.
The thyristor unit is available in load current ratings from 20 to 200 A, and in power supply voltage from 100 to 440 V a.c. It comes with a variety of functions, and soft-start function is standard on all models. As optional functions there is auto/manual transfer, output vs input signal ratio setting, fast-blow fuse and fast-blow fuse break alarm.
The THYCO-10 solid-state relays are designed with zero-cross control, and are available in ratings from 10 to 30 A. The input lamp enables a person to check the input signal from the controller. The input side and the output side are completely isolated. An optional solid-state element failure detecting function assists a person in locating the fault.
The SSNP and SSNZ Series are slim design, DIN-rail mounted, single phase power controllers. They are compact and have linear output with fast response. The SSNP Series is the phase angle control type, and the SSNZ Series is the zero-cross control type. The devices have a manual control with an external variable resistor, this control performance can be increased with digital controlled linear input/output characteristics.

Water is one of the most destructive contaminants in lubricants. Demulsifier additives prevent the formation of a stable oil-water mixture or an emulsion by changing the interfacial tension of the oil so that water will coalesce and separate more readily from the oil.
