Optex has designed and developed a new portable 2-colour non-contact infrared thermometer, known as the Thermo-Hunter VF-3000. The instrument has been designed with long focus and view finder and comes in two-colour mode and single colour mode versions. The two colour mode has a measuring range of 600 to 2000°C and the single colour mode has a measuring range of 400 to 3000°C. It comes with a repeatability of ±1°C, a field view of ø20/4000 mm, a response time of 200 ms, a continuous measuring mode, Hi/Lo alarm. Lightweight, it weighs in at only 350 grams.
The Optex Thermo-Hunter VF-3000 has been designed for industries which require heat checking of their machinery and/or equipment, and for measuring the metal temperature in furnaces and other related industries.
