Rittal KS plastic enclosures offer special advantages, thanks to the use of fibreglass-reinforced unsaturated polyester. It is the alternative for all situations where special protection is required, eg, for external sitting or in aggressive ambient conditions.
There is a choice of 10 variants, up to IP66 - depending on design. Sizes are: Width 200 to 1000 mm, height 300 to 1000 mm and depth 150 to 300 mm. There is full insulation to VDI 0100, paragraph 6.2 and they are available with or without viewing window. The casing material offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and weather and the units come with fixing inserts integrated into the enclosure and door - as well as C rails for depth-variable mounting.
