Ultrasonic level transmitters and transducers for liquids

LTH Electronics is offering a new range of competitively priced ultrasonic level transmitters and transducers for use on liquids, sludge and granular solids. The transmitters will provide an industry standard 4 to 20 mA output as a level or distance signal.

The compact Smartcost ultrasonic level transmitter has been designed for use in tanks, vessels and channels and is suitable for use in applications where the temperature can be up to 80°C. The polypropylene enclosure makes the Smartcost transmitter suitable for use in aggressive chemicals or liquids.

The 521 and 522 transmitters feature calibration switches in the connection head of the transmitter enabling easy calibration. If the 521 and 522 transmitters are used as a two-threshold transmitter (minimum and maximum levels) calibration is performed by simply pressing two switches in a pre-established sequence.

The IP65 surface mounting swing controller has been designed as a general-purpose controller for use with either one or two ultrasonic level sensors from either the PTU or Smart Series. This versatile unit is able to perform four different functions - level, differential level, open channel flow and pump control with configuration via the front panel keypad.

LTH Electronics also manufactures a simple conductivity-based liquid level controller that has been designed to provide efficient and reliable level control of electrically conducting liquids. The controller is available in a choice of surface or DIN rail mounting. The surface mounted controller is available as a single or dual controller. Applications that use LTH liquid level control equipment include tank level control, conducting liquids - for example water, sewage, acids; waste water plants and water treatment plants.
