Alltron Instruments' range of electromagnetic flowmeters from Arkon in Europe is suitable for applications from wastewater to harsh chemical environments.
With five different models to select from and options of linings, electrode materials, flange pressure ratings and power supplies, the suppliers can supply an integral or remote flowmeter suitable for individual conditions. All instruments are supplied standard with display including totaliser and instantaneous flow rates, analog, pulse, and frequency outputs. All flowmeters come with configuration and calibration software and the RS232 interface. The unit can also be programmed without the need of opening covers, via a magnetic key.
Capable of bi-directional flow measurement, the unit uses pulsed DC technology offering accuracy within 0,5% of the reading. Also available is a 15 000-point datalogger with realtime clock and calendar. All flow tubes are supplied with IP67 ratings in 1,4201 Stainless Steel rated to 2,5 MPa.
The electronic module features self-diagnostics including internal temperature and power supply voltages, excitation coils, self-test, status of the pipeline and an electronics test and is housed in cast aluminium. Power supply options include 12, 24 and 48 V a.c./d.c. and 95 to 250 V a.c. (+10-15%).
