Tecfluid, a flowmeter manufacturer based in Barcelona, Spain, has recently supplied 17 of its Model TM-44 series Turbine flowmeters to a government operated power plant in Indonesia. The units supplied were DN65 meter size and were for use on diesel oil. After initial commissioning, the end-user was so pleased with the results obtained that Tecfluid has received another order for a further 32 units, making this Tecfluid's largest single order received for the TM-44 series turbine flowmeter.
The TM-44 is an industrial turbine flowmeter that offers 0,5% accuracy and is suitable for use on low viscosity fluids at temperatures up to a maximum of 150°C. The TM-44 series is available in sizes from DN10 up to DN300 and can be supplied for operating pressures up to 25 MPa if necessary. The signal output is a low level inductive sine wave that can be used with a host of electronic devices for measurement and control applications. Tecfluid is represented in South Africa by C&F Technologies of Fontainebleau.
