Krohne has added a high temperature Coriolis mass flowmeter to its product range. The Optimass 8000/9000 series provides mass flow, volume flow and density measurement for applications with process temperatures from -180°C to 350°C.
This addition strengthens the company's range of Optimass mass flowmeter products which already comprises the 3000 Series mass flowmeters for low flow rate applications, as well as the world's best selling single straight tube meter, the Optimass 7000.
Krohne now has a family of Optimass mass flowmeters that provides measurement solutions for almost all applications in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries.
The Optimass 8000/9000 Series is available in five sizes covering a wide span of applications. A complete range of process connections is available including all common flange standards as well as hygienic and aseptic connections. Options for the 8000/9000 Series include integral or remote mounted electronics as well as factory fitted thermal insulation and fluid heating jackets. The 8000/9000 Series incorporates Optimass's innovative dual redundancy electronics concept (in the front-end on the sensor and in the converter). This makes maintenance easy with 'plug-and-play' interchangeability of these electronic components. The electronic modules are common across all Optimass meters keeping customers' spares stocking costs to a minimum.
