New Zone 0 head torch

Wolf Safety has launched a unique new safety head torch, powered by three AA primary alkaline cells, incorporating variable illumination levels from a choice of three, five and seven 'everlasting' high intensity LEDs, selected by a rubber pushbutton on the lens rim.

The Wolf HT-200 'Zone 0' Head torch is CE marked to the ATEX Directive and also IECEx Scheme Certified, so that it can be used throughout Europe, and other countries including the USA, Australia, Canada, Russia and South Africa.

Approved to Category 1 for use in Group II applications, zones 0, 1 and 2 potentially explosive gases, vapours and mists, where T4/T3 temperature class permits, the HT-200 is moulded in high impact strength antistatic plastic with a coated lens to provide scratch resistance and antistatic properties.

Using the maximum seven high output white LEDs; the wide-angle beam of this head torch offers a light duration of 50 hours at full brightness and a light output of 114 lux at a distance of one metre. With an ingress protection level of IP54, the Wolf HT-200 is supplied with a fabric/elastic headband with an optional rubber helmet band for hardhat use.
