The UK-based company, MTL, is now offering its fieldbus Process JB product range. MTL Process JBs are designed for mounting Megablock Fieldbus wiring components, terminators, 9320-SC spur connectors and FP32 surge protection devices.
The FCS-7000 Series enclosures are manufactured from 409 grade stainless steel, with a painted finish, the FCS-8000 Series enclosures are manufactured from carbon loaded polyester and the FCS-9000 Series enclosures are manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel with a polished finish. All of the enclosures provide the highest levels of corrosion resistance for process environments.
The Process JB product range is suitable for Zone 2/division 2, Zone 1/Division 1 intrinsically safe and Zone e Ex-e increased safety applications. This release includes junction boxes pre-drilled for one segment having trunk in, trunk out and four spur connections, one trunk and 10 or 12 spur connections, or two segments having one multicore trunk connection and 20 or 24 spur connections.
The enclosures are provided predrilled for customers who purchase glands separately. Alternatively the enclosures are supplied with a wide choice of gland options fitted, including stainless steel, nickel-plated brass and plastic to provide a high quality seal with standard and wire armoured cables. A 10 mm earth stud and breather are included as standard on all enclosures, as well as a tagging label, which is fitted on the enclosure lid, either blank or with tagging details.
