Nine-slot TFT LCD portable workstations

The PWS-1419/TP nine-slot, 352,5 mm TFT LCD portable workstation from ProMicro has an aluminium enclosure to withstand demanding environments. The workstation is moisture resistant, dustproof, shockproof and is resistant to changes in temperature, and built-in sound and standard PC I/O ports are provided. Compact in design, the PWS-1419/TP is suitable for field operations and is easily fitted into a vehicle. The rugged design and expandability meet MIL-STD-810E military standards and industrial requirements.

The workstations feature a full size mechanical key switch keyboard with touch pad and built-in amplified stereo speakers. The LCD displays have a maximum 1028 x 768 resolution and a backlight lifetime of 25 000 h.

A lighter version, the PWS-1409T/TP, is suitable for rugged field and mobile applications. It is built on an aluminium chassis, surrounded by an ABS plastic shell and its LCD is made from impact-resistant protective glass. The PWS-1409T/TP is a cost-effective solution for applications such as portable servers, network/communications testing, field data acquisition, remote field service and factory monitoring automation.
