Land's CF Series infrared radiation thermometers are compact, on-line instruments for non-contact temperature measurement from 300 to 2500°C. Two models are available with spectral response from 0,8 to 1,1 µm or 1,45 to 1,8 µm providing measurement of temperature that is relatively insensitive to variations in target surface emissivity.
The CF Series have a rugged stainless steel housing and provide high accuracy with digital signal processing. A built-in LED projects a red spot defining the location of the temperature measurement spot on the target.
The thermometers may be configured from a PC via a serial interface and proprietary set-up software. The serial interface permits temperature measurement spans to be configured within the full measurement range with the 4 to 20 mA thermometer output automatically scaled to suit the span. The interface also allows emissivity adjustment in the 0,05 to 1,00 range; thermometer response time adjustment from 10 ms to 10 s and peak picker reset delay adjustments from 10 ms to 25 s.
A range of mountings and accessories includes cooled and uncooled protection jackets, fixed and adjustable mountings, quick release sleeve, cooled radiation shield, air purge unit, purge adapter and mountings fixing kit. Typical applications include the likes of hardening, forging, soldering and sintering in secondary metals processing.
