November 2004 Motion Control & Drives Fire & Safety

Recently, CBI invited customers to test their motor control skills at the BMW advanced driving track. During the course of the day, participants were introduced to the finer arts of skid control and collision avoidance. This fun day had a serious corollary as these driving techniques were closely aligned with the benefits associated with CBI's range of motor control products. The range includes:

* Magnetic motor starters and magnetic contactors (MS-N Series), available in small, medium and large sized models. These are simple to install, easy to inspect and offer performance with a refined design.

* Motor protection relays (TH-N Series) comprising thermal overload relays and electronic motor protection relays for optimal motor protection.

* Manual motor starters (IPM1 MMS) to simplify motor starting.

* Enclosed direct online motor starters, easy to install with a wide selection of overload settings and manual trip testing.
