Moxa's MU860 enables its Universal PCI V2 to have 128-byte FIFO, and equips it with burst data mode - where it takes half of the time needed in the past to access the same amount of data via I/Os. This feature greatly decreases the CPU loading, and allows MOXA Universal PCI V2 to communicate at a bi-directional speed up to 921,6 Kbps per port, offering the throughput of over 700 Kbps. MU860 also has built-in hardware and software flow control circuit, preventing data loss in any kind of serial communication.
The Universal PCI V2 also meets 15 kV ESD surge protection, and provides 2 kV isolation protection (CP-134U-I V2 and CP-132UL-I V2), ensuring the reliability and security of data. The wide variety of connector options (DB9, DB25, RJ45 cables and boxes) provides wide application flexibility. With the ability to work with both 3,3 and 5 V server slots, and 2/4/8 independent RS232/422/485 serial ports, MOXA Universal PCI V2 multiport serial boards are well adapted for use with smaller scale systems and low profile servers, as well as for devices such as POS, retail, and hospitality applications.
