In automation practical solutions are required for fieldbus systems. The flexibility of AS-interface makes it a popular fieldbus system. The new Murrelektronik ASI-valve connector can drive up to four inductive valve coils and is available in four versions (eg two inputs and outputs) to DIN 43650. The small and compact designed connector is IP67 protected. M12 ports make it possible for the user to connect another coil as well as two sensors to the AS-I-Bus (eg to capture the final position). The AS-I-connection technology allows quick and problem-free connection of the bus cable. The LED indicator makes clear diagnostics and quick error-detection possible. Addressing is performed via a separate address port and this connection can be made when the module is already mounted.
