RKC, a Japanese controller specialist, has designed and developed the CB Series range of digital controllers for use in various industries such as the steel, pulp and paper, chemical, pharmaceutical, medical, petrochemical and many other industries.
The series combines leading temperature control developments with easy-to-use operation in a cost-competitive package. These versatile controllers can be configured for demanding applications. They are now manufactured with powerful new features such as active-tuning, digital communications, user-friendly functions, large and bright displays, advanced heater and loop break alarm capabilities and IP66.
The active-tuning feature is initiated at start-up and when process parameters or conditions change. The CB Series monitors the process, and automatically sets new PID parameters when needed. Optional RS485 communications interface is on offer for networking to computers, PLC and the plant's existing scada software. The controllers are made with run/stop mode, and the instrument monitors the process value, even when it is in stop mode.
The CB Series features close horizontal spacing, dustproof and waterproof protection, heat/cool control, temperature alarms, loop break alarm and heater break alarm.
