Rhomberg's range of utility gauges has been designed for light, medium and heavy-duty service applications.
The recently launched turret, also known as a 4,5" process gauge, is used in the paper and pulp, chemical and petroleum industries where the operator is exposed to severe environments and the safety of the operator is a factor. The gauge is constructed with solid front (to prevent any parts flying towards the operator should the tube for any reason rupture) and a blow-out back to release excessive pressure build up.
The newly designed forged brass unit is particularly suitable for use in the hydraulic industry. The gauge is constructed of a solid brass housing and can be liquid filled for vibration applications. The design of the socket incorporates an adapter, which makes it easy to change from one thread to the other.
The PBM economic steel cased gauge and the PBU robust utility and light industrial gauge are suitable for non-corrosive liquids and gases on light duty service, whilst the PBN can be used in more corrosive environments, ie, in coastal usage, swimming pool pumps and stationary irrigation systems. The PBK equipment and light industrial gauges (with the PBX safety pattern option) can handle medium duty service and the safety pattern design is especially suitable for welding and medical gas regulators.
For heavy-duty service, where vibration or pulsation of medium would cause excessive wear on a dry gauge or where corrosive ambient conditions prevail, the PBJ liquid filled plastic-cased industrial gauges with external zero adjustment and the PBG robust liquid filled equipment and industrial gauges are well suited to the application.
