Low cost solution for alternating pump control applications

A common issue solved by use of an alternating relay is water level pump control. This dedicated relay changes states when a single signal is given. This allows for one liquid level sensor to pump up or down the tank while alternating the pumps. An additional feature included is a second sensor where if the level is too high, and detected, both pumps will be enabled to expedite the desired level. The KBMS programmable relay can effectively enhance this application.
Another common component of the pump panel would be an hour meter to monitor the usage of each pump. Maintenance personnel would look at this for their preventative maintenance programs. The hour meter is another component incorporated into the program for the KBMS to display. Included is a sample program for similar applications.
All of the aforementioned requirements can be economically met with the use of a single KBMS programmable relay while keeping the wiring simple.
