Elen Enclosures is offering the Ecold TCU range of thermo-electric (Peltier element) coolers/airconditioners. There are four models - the TCU 50, TCU 100, TCU 200 and TCU 300 with rated cooling powers of 50, 100, 200 and 300 W.
The coolers are maintenance free, compact and easy to install. The 50 and 100 W units are 320 mm high, 160 mm wide and 188 mm deep and protrude 88 mm into the enclosure. The 200 W and 300 W versions maintain the same height and depth, with widths of 320 and 448 mm, respectively. The thermo-electric coolers can operate in any position and are insensitive to vibration. IP55 rated models are suitable for out-door installation. The coolers operate from 24 V d.c. power supply (other DC supply voltages are optional). Correctly rated DC power supplies are obtainable from Elen. Accessories include thermostats and digital temperature controllers.
