25 years of people-focused instrumentation business

WIKA Instruments honoured its customers and celebrated its 25th Anniversary by hosting a dinner at the Sandton Sun on 5 February. The Master of Ceremonies for the formal affair was actor Anthony Fridjhon, who kept the guests laughing and ran the show with aplomb.

WIKA South Africa's managing director, Rainer Holz, gave a short address thanking customers for their continued support. He also paid tribute to retired MD, Dieter Hesse and retired factory manager, Heinz-Dieter Nagel - both of whom were present for the occasion. The WIKA Group chairman, Alexander Wiegand, also took the opportunity to pay tribute to the WIKA South Africa subsidiary, its leaders - past and present - and its staff, "the most valuable asset ... not on the balance sheet." He pointed out that WIKA South Africa is the only subsidiary in the WIKA group to have a bar in its main building.

Two staff members, Elise Van der Merwe and David Radebe, received their 25 Year honorariums at the banquet. Alexander Wiegand made the presentations. WIKA would like to thank its customers for their loyalty over the past 25 years, and promises to continue to manufacture and supply the pressure and temperature measuring instrumentation that clients have come to expect from WIKA.
