The small, pluggable 6,2 mm PLC-interface relay and optocoupler product range from Phoenix Contact now includes the PLC-SO46 line. Interface elements will be implemented where conventional relays and optocouplers are unable to function reliably with the noise voltage interference that is caused by the control system - or by leakage currents. Effective filter switching reduces unwanted disturbances such as initiator leakage currents or noise voltage interference induced in longer control cables. This can improve the switching behaviour noticeably.
The modules are designed for use with 120 and 230 V a.c. power supplies - and are available in versions using screw or spring cage technology. The PLC relay and optocoupler range offer savings in space, wiring and cost.
