The UM slim line housing from Phoenix Contact provides a great number of possibilities for constructing electronic switching: a transparent flat-design cover is now optionally available for UM slim line housing for 100 and 108 mm component widths. As with the housing, the cover is cut to length with millimetre precision according to the customer's needs. The flexible length adjustment to the printed circuit board enables users to develop individual, practical electronic modules.
If the printed circuit boards are used effectively, this provides compact electronic modules protected from touching and dirt with a total installation height of around 60 mm. The module is supplemented by corresponding side elements that are available with or without feet and optionally with an integrated potential grounding contact. Options for connecting external wires such as PCB terminals or pluggable Combicon connection technology, and a diverse range of services, round off the product range.
