The ME MAX housings from Phoenix Contact feature compact dimensions but still leave room for custom electronics. A larger front surface is provided for connectors with high numbers of pins as well as operating and control elements below the hinged see-through cover. The signal and supply voltages are conveniently and cost-effectively looped through a mounting rail bus connection, which is clipped onto the DIN rail. This means that single devices can be locked into position or removed from the network in the usual way - and the signal chain remains unbroken.
The modular housing design can be extended from 17,5 mm to 45 mm in width; the mixed fixed connection and plug connection technology with up to three connection levels; as well as plug connection technology in screw, spring and quick connection form. Other industrial plug connectors such as D-SUB and RJ-45 are easy to integrate.
