Hygienic valve for CIP operation

Mitech's Hygienic valve is ideal for CIP operation up to a temperature of 150°C in the food, brewing and medical industries. The locally designed and manufactured valve is cavity free allowing it to be easily cleaned, while its mirror-polished surface discourages bacteria growth.
The valve body is manufactured in 316 stainless steel and is offered in sizes from 25 to 100 mm meeting ANSI #150 or ND 16 requirements. Actuators are available with either a double acting or spring return mode with a field reversible fail closed or fail open action. The actuators are rated for 1000 kPa operation and have Buna N or Viton 'O' ring seals.
A choice of either an electro-pneumatic or pneumatic positioner is offered with a 4 to 20 mA or 20 to 100 kPa signal respectively. The positioners operate with air-to-open or air-to-close action, and split range and 4 to 20 mA feedback features are optional.
