The new 2-wire, P-based head mount transmitter, the Mp 82850-R, is a member of S-Products' smallest, most advanced two-wire, head mounting, microprocessor-based transmitter family. This transmitter has a PT100 RTD 3-wire input and is easily programmed via pushbuttons. They fit into standard connection heads and can be programmed to user's exact PT100 RTD requirements via two simple clicks on the onboard pushbutton.
Fully linearised, it offers optional features, which includes a loop-powered plug-in LCD read-out for local display of the measured temperature. The DAN connection head allows one to read the display through a glass window without having to open the head.
The Mp 87700 is a 4-wire isolated wall or rail mount transmitter with display. Also compact and microprocessor-based, it has a separate power supply for its 4-wire system, and because of the well-thought-out design, wall or rail mounting is made easier. One of the power options included is the isolation to prevent ground loops and or other associated problems. Another option offered is the choice of current and voltage outputs.
The input and output signals are isolated and the device is suited to three or four wire RTDs. The thermocouple units offer a choice between voltage linear and temperature linear. The Point and Click software allows all settings to be easily carried out - and this unit has the option of a built-in-display.
