Two models have been added to Shorti's non-contact ultrasonic level meters. They are the Shorti 2-wire loop-powered ultrasonic level transmitter, and the Shorti 2-wire loop powered intrinsically safe version. The existing range includes an 8 m 3-wire 4 to 20 mA and an 8 m programmable relay output version.
All Shorti ultrasonic level transmitters, come standard with an integral 5-key programming keypad, a menu driven and local LCD display, and 2" transducer. The user has no need to purchase any further hardware to set up, program or maintain the units. The units, manufactured and sold by KAB Instruments, are manufactured to very strict quality procedures, under the ISO9001 quality system, which is audited by Dekra-Germany. The units also have CE certification that has allowed them to be sold so successfully in Europe and the rest of the world.
