The new Interbus Inline DC AR 48/10, a drive controller from Phoenix Contact is a universal power output stage for continuous-duty DC brush motors with up to 450 W rated consumption. Besides easy, tool-free handling, the servo amplifier features the Interbus Inline system's pluggable connection technology.
Including this drive controller for DC brush motors, the modular positioning controllers in the Interbus Inline product range offer good-value solutions for many positioning applications. The Inline IB IL DC/AR and IB IL POS 200 fieldbus modules offer cost and operating advantages, particularly for automating step-down gear systems with a small number of dynamic axes. In comparison to multichannel controllers, the point-to-point controller's modular design permits economical configuration of the exact number of axes required. In addition, the modules can be shared between the individual machines. If the power units are brought closer to the axes at the same time, additional savings can be made in wiring. The positioning controllers, to protection category IP20, offer easier installation in the decentralised terminal boxes and can network with Interbus, Profibus, DeviceNet, and CAN fieldbus systems or Ethernet.
