Provable accuracy is guaranteed with the latest cost-effective alternative to electromagnetic flowmeters, the PROline Prosonic Flow 93C from Endress + Hauser.
Aimed at water and wastewater applications, the inline ultrasonic flowmeter is a combination of an optimised Prosonic Flow W insertion sensor and a Prosonic Flow 93 transmitter. An optional two-path sensing system means increased swirl tolerance, improved linearity and a short, straight inlet section, with a length of only 10 times nominal diameter. Showing a measurement uncertainty of less than 0,5% under reference conditions, the product is offered with a specified measurement uncertainty of less than 2%.
In addition to being more cost-effective than electromagnetic flowmeters, the 93C also negates the need for check-valves, because all active parts of the measuring system are interchangeable without process interruption. It does not create additional pressure loss and there is no need for regular maintenance, which reduces operating cost.
Flexible and adaptable, the Prosonic Flow C measuring tube is compatible with magnetic flowmeters regarding fitting length and process connections and serves as an alternative to Endress + Hauser's clamp-on and insertion systems.
