Elen Enclosures is offering a new enclosure system to replace its 'Spacial 3000' series. The new system is named 'Spacial 3D'. The most notable improvement is the increased degree of protection to IP66 on all single door models (double door models IP55). Another notable feature is the chamfered vertical edge door construction, which enhances the appearance of the enclosure while providing additional rigidity to the strength achieved by double folding and plasma welding. The body is of folded cross construction, plasma welded and has gutter profiled front opening with double folded edges for protection against ingress of dust and water whilst providing an additional mechanical strength. The enclosure finish is a structured polyester powder coating, which is highly resistant to UV, weather, corrosion and many chemicals. Corrosion resistance is increased further by plasma welding combined with phosphating and chromate passivation prior to powder coating.
