Magnet’s range of test and measurement devices includes a network power analyser designed for reliability, portability and easy operation. The PQ-Box 100 is a network power analyser, power meter and transient recorder in one instrument, developed by a-eberle specially for mobile operation and measurements in public networks, installation category CAT IV. The PQ-Box 100 measures a voltage quality according to the requirements of NRS048, EN50160, IEC 61000-2-2 Class A, for low medium and high voltage networks.

This compact device, which is shockproof and has a waterproof housing, is designed for tough applications.

Powered via measurement cables, the compact shockproof device has application specific settings that are easy to programme; a number of triggering options enables quick fault location. Data is transferred via the USB II interface from the instruments 1 GB of memory, which allows measured values to be stored almost indefinitely.

A clear display provides information about correct measurement cable and current clamp connection and shows on-line data for voltage, current, THD and power. The number of events that have occurred during operation and the recorded measurement duration are also displayed for the user. An unlimited number of measurements can be made consecutively, without the need to output those previously recorded first. A manual trigger button enables recording of the current network status of a system in the form of an oscilloscope trace and 10 ms RMS values. Two additional buttons can be used to scroll the display and to adjust the settings of the device, for example, for transformers medium and high voltage networks.

The analyser is supplied in a waterproof housing designed for tough applications and supported by a range of performance enhancing accessories.
