ifm’s ecolink range of EVM connectors provide an extremely secure mechanical connection and an excellent seal, thanks to a construction that always ensures the O-ring is compressed correctly. The EVM range is available with environmental protection ratings to IP67, IP68 and IP69K.
Designed for robust applications, especially those found in mobile machinery, the EVM range can withstand temperatures from -40 to +90°C. The coupling nut is stainless steel and the O-ring and cable sheath are oil-resistant Viton and PUR respectively.
The EVM range can also withstand high mechanical stresses, in this case more than five million drag-chain cycles. Various versions are available including angled connectors with LED indication.
