Phoenix Contact is a leading supplier in the field of electrical engineering, with a product range that covers connection technology, interface, surge and lightning protection, wireless, networking and control technology. The company employs 14 500 people worldwide and has a sales network of over 52 subsidiaries, with Phoenix Contact in South Africa being one of the first that was established. The branch, situated in Randburg, has grown from strength to strength over the years, establishing itself as a market leader in the field.

Following the corporate identity of Phoenix Contact, the branch recently revamped its facilities to be in line with the global standard. Included in the upgrade is a world-class 62 seat auditorium, a product display area and an entertainment area. The new facility was launched during November 2016 at a fun-filled evening where Carsten Tonk, export director in Germany, officially opened the upgraded premises.
While Phoenix Contact in South Africa soars to new heights, it was only appropriate that the theme for the festivities reflected this. From boarding pass invitations, real airport announcements and cabin crew serving the VIP guests champagne, great care was taken to make the event as authentic as possible. Phoenix Contact looks forward to hosting many seminars and training events in the future, and hopes to invite both customers and friends to its new world-class facility.
