To keep up with advanced manufacturing technologies and the continuously shrinking sizes of applications, RET Automation Controls is introducing high pressure inductive sensors in an M12 housing. Previously available in an M18 housing, the M12 high pressure sensor series allow RET to meet its customers’ evolving needs. The new offering is available in two lengths, 56 mm and 78 mm.
“We heard from customers, particularly with hydraulics applications, that a more compact high pressure sensing solution was needed,” said Turck product manager, John Murphy. “The M12 high pressure sensor provides an ideal solution for these applications without sacrificing any performance.” The M12 sensor series has a robust stainless steel housing that can withstand static or dynamic pressure up to 500 bar. The sensors have a sensing range of 1,5 mm and carry an IP68 rating, allowing them to withstand demanding environments.
