Mitech’s severe service valves are designed to operate in the harshest of conditions to solve the most demanding applications in the power and oil and gas industries. The series has been applied in the mining and other industries where erosive slurries are encountered. Control of steam and water in power generation is another application where it is essential to ensure efficient operation of the plant and protect equipment. Here, the valves can be used for steam and water pressure reduction and the control of boilers, turbines and pumping systems.

The valves are available in two-port globe, three-way globe and sweep angle types in sizes DN 15 to DN 400. Flow characteristics are linear, bi-linear and tri-linear with a choice of ED, ZZ and MHP trims.

With a local CFD design, the valves can be engineered to suit specific applications. The valves are offered in a wide range of materials and have a clamp in place, free float design.
