Mitech’s ranges of pneumatic linear actuators feature precise stroke adjustment and highly repeatable accuracy. Engineered and manufactured for reliability and precision in production environments, the linear actuators are available in various sizes and can be used on most linear valve types.
Locally designed and manufactured, the actuators are compact in design, easy to mount and are rated for 1000 kPa. The actuators feature a double acting or fail open/fail closed operation and, depending on size, have either anodised aluminium or steel cylinders and a corrosion resistant stainless steel shaft. With the ability to achieve large thrusts up to 195 000 Newtons, the actuators are suitable for use on diaphragm or pinch valves.
Various actuator options are offered including pneumatic or electro-pneumatic positioners, solenoids, limit switches and proximity switches. The actuators are also suited for position indication, fail systems and hand-wheel override applications.
Typical examples for use include those found in mining, petrochemical, food, breweries, pulp and paper and power generation industries.
