Following the launch of 40 W AC/DC PLM-40 series LED power supply, Mean Well has introduced 12/25 W PLM-12/25 series, for the lower wattage requirements of the LED lighting market. Featuring 110-295 VAC input range, and constant current design, both series have selectable constant current outputs from 350-1050 mA. With single stage PFC circuit design, the PLM-12/25 series offer cost effective power solutions to reach PF>0,9. They also comply with harmonic current limitation per EN61000-3-2 Class C for general lighting requirements. No load power consumption is less than 0,5 W.
The series possess up to 87% efficiency allowing the supplies to work between -30 and 45°C with only free air convection cooling, ideal for use in closed lighting systems. The I/O terminals are designed with a screw-less clamp style terminal block for convenient wiring installation. In addition, the series features built-in short circuit protection and complies with global lighting certificates per ENEC EN61347-2-13, EN62384 and UL8750.
Suitable applications include indoor LED lighting, office lighting, commercial lighting, and indoor LED decorative lighting.
