Mean Well has launched its 200-400 W ultra low profile economic sign panel power supply range, the NEL-200/300/400 series. The range adopts the 30 mm ultra-low profile design that allows the height and weight of the module to be reduced for inconvenience of installation. In addition, this series incorporates non PFC design, achieving efficiency up to 87% for enhanced performance and electricity expense reduction. The series has an input voltage range from 180-264 VAC and output voltages of 2,8/4,2/5 V are provided for design flexibility.
NEL-200 exploits free air convection cooling whereas NEL-300/400 a built-in fan. The entire NEL series can work in the temperature range -2 through 60oC in both indoor and outdoor applications. All PCBs are conformal coated to provide resistance to moisture and dust. Standard functions include short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature protection. Applications include indoor and outdoor LED electronic signage, moving LED signs and LED TV walls.
