Replacing old/obsolete Highland 9100 alarm annunciator systems can in many instances be a time consuming, disruptive and costly exercise. Omniflex has however made the task simple, by designing a custom packaged Omni16C alarm logic unit and LED display. The industry proven SIL1 rated Omniflex annunciator system provides a flexible approach for these replacement projects and is repackaged into new housings to ensure simple replacement and minimum disruption in terms of both electrical and mechanical fixings.
The Highland 9100 replacement system consists of the Omni X LED Display and the Omni16 remote logic unit for replacing the display, alarm logic and terminal interface. Custom built suitably sized adaptor plates (paint matched to customer requirements) are included for fitting over existing panel cut-outs, ensuring a quick and seamless installation.
The design allows upgrades of the Highland 9100 alarm units to be completed in the shortest time possible and with the least risk to plant operations.
